The Glorious Mothers collective addresses the issue of motherhood and parenting in the visual arts. Through political, linguistic and artistic work, the group aims to collectively voice the demands of artistic mothers and those who identify themselves as primarily responsible for the care of children, bringing the issue of parenting to the attention of art institutions. Through theoretical and practical research, The Glorious Mothers works on deconstructing a stereotypical imaginary of motherhood linked to the heteronormed family institution, trying to make visible the multiple ways of parenting.
Currently, the group is composed of Sara Basta, Cristina Cusani, Mariana Ferratto, Giulia Iacolutti, Grossi Maglioni (Francesca Grossi and Vera Maglioni), Caterina Pecchioli, Lorena Peris, Dafne Salis and Miriam Secco

An invitation to travel the millennial sea that looks east and west, north and south, east and west. The wrecks of underwater archaeology, wet shores and beaches, the scientific eye and big data of satellites. A choral project of architects, scientists, sociologists, artists, writers, geographers, journalists, philosophers, navigators, theologians. An extended and multidisciplinary narrative, an unusual point of view and in actuality, a new geography
Daniele Cesaro, Director Fair Priced Vintage Italia
At a time when contemporary art and fashion are increasingly intertwined with environmental issues the meeting will explore the synergies between these two sectors through the pioneering work of companies such as Fair Priced Vintage. We will learn how the company engages in taking back and reconditioning used clothing and accessories while also turning them into resources for contemporary artists. Through concrete examples of such collaborations, Fair Priced Vintage contact persons will show how recycling and upcycling can not only reduce environmental impact, but also give rise to innovative works of art.

Giovanni Camisasca, Art Expert Collecto
The world of art collecting is undergoing a radical transformation thanks to the advent of digital and Web 5.0. The landscape is changing rapidly, paving the way for new global markets that include broader and more diverse participation by collectors and investors. Digital has enabled a democratization of the sector, where art becomes accessible not only to major collectors, but also to first-time collectors thanks to the introduction of online platforms and new ways of acquiring works. Into this dynamic context comes Collecto, an innovative start-up that is revolutionizing the art market by proposing a system of fractioning works. Thanks to Collecto, investors can buy shares in an artwork making collecting more accessible and participatory thus redefining the way of living and investing in contemporary art.

A fascinating encounter that will explore the ancient symbolism of tarot cards and their evolution over the centuries. A path that winds through magic, esotericism and culture revealing how the tarot has been more than just divinatory tools, becoming a source of inspiration for contemporary art. During the talk, the contribution of figures such as Alejandro Jodorowsky will be explored, demonstrating their connection to contemporary art, psychology and spirituality. Thanks to the intervention of a specialist, the audience will have the opportunity to discover the connection between tarot and the theme of this 13th edition of the art fair in order to understand how the arcana represent a key to understanding contemporary society.
Founded in 2016 by Behnood Javaherpour, the Behnoode Foundation is a Paris-based organization committed to supporting artists through various initiatives, such as publications, institution exhibitions, public programming, and art residency projects.
The foundation’s mission is to broaden the artistic experience and create a global community through educational platforms where young artists, who may face difficulties accessing international arts and cultural programs, can showcase their work and exchange ideas. In order to support this mission, the foundation offers scholarships for educational programs.
The Behnoode Foundation invites artists and curators to participate in cultural and artistic events while also providing an educational platform for children in Nepal and Africa. In these underprivileged areas, the foundation builds schools to ensure that quality education is accessible for all.
The foundation believes that education is essential and makes it a priority to support and provide access to quality education for those who may not have the means to obtain it otherwise.
The goal of the prize is the acquisition of an artwork, selected from those displayed at the fair’s stands, to be included in the Operæ Collection.
The chosen piece will be determined by a jury composed of collector and Operæ founder Emilio Bordoli, Operæ CEO and art consultant Gloria Amorena, curator Lorenzo Bruni, and collector Chiara Casolo Ginelli.
The prize does not impose any age or technique restrictions, but its aim is to identify and acquire a work that reflects the core values of the Operæ initiative, which was created by collectors for collectors. Specifically, the values sought are communicative creativity, empathy towards the viewer, and the strength of the message conveyed.
A central value of Operæ – the most widespread system for collection archiving and management on smartphones and tablets – is the desire to share and communicate the value of one’s collection. Above all, the jury will look for an optimistic and positive attitude, which, particularly in these challenging times – socially, historically, and geopolitically – should permeate the world of art and creative production.

The Prospettiva Insulare prize is an artist residency that takes place in the Canary Islands, designed for an artist residing in Italy whose work is exhibited at The Others Art Fair 2024.
The Canary Islands are a unique place that, as a borderland, also serves as a meeting point. Geographically African, administratively European, and with a Caribbean soul, they create an extraordinary environment where distance from everything fosters reflection.
This award offers a unique opportunity for artistic exploration and reflection, highlighting the value of the island’s natural setting, geographic isolation, and relationship with the horizon.
The presence of Prospettiva Insulare within The Others Art Fair creates a bridge between young galleries, non-profit spaces, and artist-run spaces, encouraging the development of innovative and alternative strategies outside more established art circuits. This open and barrier-free dialogue reflects the inclusive spirit of both the fair and the award itself.
The jury will consist of Emanuela Mazzonis, Ettore Favini, Francesco Carone, and Giovanni Ozzola.
In a world marked by challenges and uncertainties, art stands as a beacon of hope, visible from afar even to those who cannot see. This prize is dedicated to those extraordinary works that, despite adversity, manage to convey a message of trust and positivity to humanity. Trust is the root of hope, the attitude that allows us to look to the future with optimism, to believe in our abilities and the potential of others.
The prize aims not only to celebrate visual beauty and creativity but also to recognize the power of a work of art to inspire trust in human potential and promote a sense of security and calm. These are the elements that help overcome challenges, build stronger relationships, and look ahead with hope.

Jelisaveta Rapaic, We Are Open: Hair Cutting Therapy Sessions (2020 – ongoing)
Silvia Sviteková, Be off, 2018
The performance Be off explores the inner monologue within the context of a crowd, expressed through both words and movement. The audience witnesses a struggle between the inner world and the external environment, revealing the individual’s experience within the crowd. The piece touches on themes of individuality, collective consciousness, isolation, and shared experience.
Veronika Verešová, Tarot as Therapy: Finding a Way Out in Everyday Situations, 2024
Today, despite living in a highly technological world, interest in spirituality is growing. Tarot offers a way to connect with intuitive images that encourage personal growth and self-reflection. While it may not be a scientific tool, it can have a therapeutic effect, providing deeper understanding in times of uncertainty. Tarot thus becomes a path to self-discovery through a magical ritual. The resulting performance for Veronika Verešová draws from meditation, creating space for inner contemplation and stability..

Rozina Pátkai, The Slow Forward Manifesto, 2024
The artistic project is a multinational manifesto embodiment performance, where artists from various nationalities come together to express and transmit the essence of the “Slow Forward Manifesto” in their native languages. This powerful act goes beyond simple recitation, as the artists channel the manifesto’s meaning through their voices, bodies, and movements, turning the words into a living, collective expression of resistance against hurry and distraction. The manifesto is a declaration urging a return to focus, time, and authenticity in art and life.
Sunggu Hong, Hide and Seek with my Breath, 2024
How do we or can we change our movement, if we are all related to each other through our breath, which is constantly moving around us? – ‘I’ve never seen my grandmother, the mother of my father, because she passed away after my father was born. But sometimes I think that the breath she once breathed out might still be moving somewhere around me, which is actually a bit creepy, but also touching.
Seung-Yeon Jung, entwined alien, 2024
The performance portrays a record of ordinary life depicted abstractly, as a satire of people with a negative attitude towards anything new, different or simply anything not immediately understandable to them.
Yoko Gwen Halbwidl, So Young Park, Ein Stein fällt mir vom Herzen (una pietra cade dal mio cuore), 2024
“A stone falls from my heart” is a German saying which refers to the feeling of relief – this relief can be thought as the realization of one’s possibility to constantly change and become other forms of being. As the stones fall from our hearts, they become transmission objects which carry us into another life cycle.
Larissa F. Zekl, Nora Köhler, Leonie Bramberger, AWARD, 2024
The Köhler-Zekl-Barmsberger Foundation proudly awards prestigious prizes for extraordinary achievements. At their ceremonies, participants receive awards for their self-chosen accomplishments, celebrated with great fanfare and official recognition.
Nora Köhler, KRA – Solving Conflicts!, 2024
KRA is here to solve the world’s biggest problems – because clearly no one else will. From our small Austrian village, KRA has mastered the art of solving conflicts. No crisis is too big for us. Support us and invest in global peace! A humored examination of paternalistic perspectives in contemporary European art, its questionable rescue narratives, and an essentially “apolitical politicization” of art.
