Experimentation and creativity: two new open calls
The Others, hosted for the second consecutive year in the spaces of the ITCILO – International Training Centre of the ILO (International Labour Organization) in Turin and scheduled from 30 October to 2 November 2025, introduces two new open calls for its 2025 edition.
Conceived to broaden the inclusive vocation of The Others and to give voice to emerging and alternative perspectives: Digital-Craft Journey AI (Video) – an open call for students from five Italian Fine Arts Academies (Turin, Milan, Bologna, Florence, and Catania), invited to present a video work exploring the limits and possibilities of artificial intelligence. Urban Resonances – an international open call for a site-specific sound artwork investigating the role of urban space in the age of smart cities and digital connections. The winning work will be broadcast in the entrance stairwell, transforming the access into an “immersive” threshold between the city and the fair.

Open call for a sound work
Deadline: October 15 at 12 p.m. (CET)
Risonanze Urbane (Sound) is the international call dedicated to artists working in the field of sound art.
The initative was created to reflect the role of the urban space in the age of smart cities and digital connections.
The winning work will be installed in the stairwell at the entrance (located outside the building), thus transforming the access to The Others into an immersive threshold that sets up a hypothetical dialogue between the city and the fair.
